No packages. Just your price.
Every business is a different shape, so we price the actual work rather than squeezing you into a tier. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Answer a few questions. Watch it price.
Same maths we use internally. The number updates as you go — no need to know what everything means, the defaults suit most people.
Find the one that looks like you.
These are illustrations, not packages — a rough guide to where you would land. Your actual price comes from one short call.
Sole trader, not VAT registered, no employees
- Sole trader annual accounts prepared and filed
- Self Assessment tax return
- Quarterly MTD submissions to HMRC
- Your tax bill confirmed months ahead
One director, not VAT registered
- Annual accounts and corporation tax return
- One director's Self Assessment
- Bookkeeping, Xero licence, monthly reports
- Confirmation statement filed
Ltd company, ~£250k turnover, three employees
- Everything in the limited company example
- Monthly payroll, payslips and RTI
- Auto-enrolment pension administration
- Quarterly planning sessions
Six things move the number.
Structure
A limited company carries more filing obligations than a sole trader — accounts, corporation tax, confirmation statement.
Transaction count
Bookkeeping is priced on how many transactions run through the business, not just what it turns over.
VAT registration
Registered means four extra returns a year, prepared, checked and filed.
Making Tax Digital
Whether MTD applies to your Self Assessment changes the work — quarterly submissions instead of one annual return.
People
Payroll, payslips, RTI submissions and pension auto-enrolment all scale with headcount.
Where you start
Clean, current books cost less to take on than several years that need catching up first.
Not everyone needs the lot.
Starting prices if you only want one piece of it. Most people end up on a monthly plan because it works out simpler — but we would rather point you at the right thing.

Catch-up bookkeeping
All prices plus VAT. Starting points — your quote depends on the five factors above.
The bits people always ask.
Why no set packages?
Because businesses are not the same shape. Packages either overcharge the simple ones or leave gaps for the complex ones, and both mean somebody pays for something they do not need. We would rather price the actual work.
Is my price really fixed once agreed?
Yes. We agree it up front and it does not change unless your business does — you take on staff, register for VAT, add a company. No surprise invoices, and no charge for picking up the phone.
What if I only need one thing?
That is fine. The per-service prices above are the starting points. Most people end up on a monthly plan because it works out simpler, but we would rather point you at the right thing than sell you something you do not need.
How do I get an actual number?
One short call. Tell us what the business does, roughly what it turns over and how it is set up, and you will have a fixed monthly price by the end of it. No obligation, no follow-up pestering.
Do I have to use Xero?
It is included and it is what we build everything around, so it is the smoothest path. If you are already committed to something else, talk to us and we will tell you honestly whether we are a good fit.
How long am I tied in for?
It is a rolling monthly arrangement. If it is not working, you can leave — and we will hand over your records properly rather than making it painful.
What does switching accountants involve?
Very little from you. You sign one letter, we contact your current accountant, request your records and handle the professional clearance. Most switches are done inside a fortnight.
When do I pay?
Monthly by direct debit, starting the month we begin work. No large bill landing at year end.
Let's get you a real number.
One short call about your business and how it is set up. You will have a fixed monthly price by the end of it — no obligation.
